The story
Jora was born out of a simple observation: the existing ride-hailing models in Nigeria were not working for everyone. Prices were unpredictable and drivers were losing too much to high commissions.
We decided to build something different — a platform rooted in the culture of negotiation and mutual respect that defines our city, Uyo. By giving riders and drivers more control, we returned the power of choice to real people.
Today, Jora is more than just an app. It is a growing community of riders and verified drivers, all moving Uyo forward together.
