We've been building quietly, planning routes, refining the app, and dreaming about what getting around Uyo could feel like when it just works. Today, we're ready to pull back the curtain.
Jora is a ride-hailing app built for Uyo. Not an afterthought of some global platform, but a service designed with our roads, our riders, and our city in mind. Whether you're heading to the Government House roundabout, out to Ewet Housing, or anywhere in between, Jora will get you there comfortably and reliably.
We're not fully live yet, but we're close. Before we open to everyone, we want a small group of real people in Uyo to try it first, break it, love it, and help us make it better.
Why do we need testers?
No app is perfect on day one. We'd rather find the rough edges with a trusted group of early users than launch something half-baked to the whole city. As a Jora tester, your experience truly matters and here's what you get for showing up early:

Who we're looking for
You don't need to be a tech person. We just need people who live or work in Uyo, use their phone regularly, and are willing to share honest thoughts. If you take rides around the city or wish you could more easily, you're exactly who we built Jora for.
Spots are limited. We want to keep the first wave small so we can actually listen to everyone who signs up. Once we've learned and improved, we'll open the doors wider and eventually expand beyond Uyo, too.
